Discover the Memorie collection, six refillable fragrances inspired by Ermenegildo Zegna’s personal memories and the enduring heritage of the Zegna family. Il Calamaio, a leathery amber fragrance, opens with a smoky ink accord, unfolds into refined Turkish rose, and settles into the depth of oud.
Housed in a black gradient bottle that echoes the ink of the newspapers accompanying his daily rituals, it is crowned with a dark walnut ash wood magnetic cap, featuring a silver emblem of the Zegna Family crest.
The packaging features a distinctive gap symbolizing the 232 Road Brand Mark, and is completed with a vintage stamp of the Lanificio in Oasi Zegna, tinted to match the color of the fragrance bottle.

It’s dawn. Ermenegildo Zegna, our Founder, gazes out of his office window overlooking the Lanificio, our wool mill. As he settles into his leather chair, he opens the newspaper: sharp ink mingles with the scent of wood. Pen in hand, thoughts pour into his leather notebook – sparking a vision of something greater.

The 100 ml bottle can be replenished from the 150 ml refill. A mindful action, at the core of an object crafted for longevity.
Spray once or twice onto clean skin on the desired areas. Avoid rubbing to preserve the scent’s evolution. Store your fragrance in a cool, dry area, away from direct light and heat sources.
