BORN IN OASI ZEGNA

‘Born in Oasi Zegna’ is more than a story–it represents our origins and our ethos.
It began with a single tree in Trivero, Piedmont. Today, more than 500,000 trees define Oasi Zegna, a 100 km² natural territory.

What our Founder, Ermenegildo Zegna, planted was more than a forest. He established a way of thinking: that caring for a place means looking beyond the present and creating something of lasting value.

Over a century later, this philosophy remains at the heart of ZEGNA, continuing to shape the way we think, create, and care for the world around us.

Oasi Zegna Global Initiatives builds upon this legacy, bringing the values born in Oasi Zegna to landscapes that hold meaning for ZEGNA around the world. Working alongside local communities and environmental experts, each initiative is shaped by a shared commitment to preserving these places for generations to come.

FROM TRIVERO TO THE ROCKIES

OASI ZEGNA IN ASPEN

Aspen is a natural continuation of the Oasi Zegna journey. Like Trivero, it is a place where extraordinary landscapes shape culture, inspire creativity, and foster community.
 
Through partnership designed to strengthen the long-term health and resilience of Aspen's forests, Oasi Zegna Global Initiatives has replanted 160,000 native trees, advanced science-based efforts to protect Aspen Mountain's Douglas-fir trees; helped preserve the trails and fragile alpine ecosystems surrounding Maroon Bells; supported wildfire mitigation and habitat restoration, and created an educational orchard to inspire the next generation of land stewards.
 
Here, the aspen tree stands as a powerful symbol of interconnectedness. Though each tree appears to stand alone, entire forests are often connected beneath the surface by a single living root system—growing stronger together over time. It is a reminder that the places we cherish endure through collective care, and that the choices we make today can shape landscapes for generations to come.
 
Aspen partners include: Aspen Center for Environmental Studies, U.S. Forest Service, Roaring Fork Outdoor Volunteers, Aspen Wildfire Foundation, Wildfire Collaborative Roaring Fork Valley, Aspen One, the City of Aspen, and The Farm Collaborative.

In Aspen, visitors are invited to discover the story of Oasi Zegna through an immersive installation where craftsmanship and nature come together. It is an opportunity to explore the philosophy that has shaped our brand for more than a century—and the partnerships that continue to bring that philosophy to life today.

OASI ZEGNA IN MILAN

The journey beyond the Biella Alps began in Milan during Salone del Mobile. In Piazza Duomo, ZEGNA transformed one of the city's most iconic public spaces into a living extension of Oasi Zegna. A curated landscape of camphor groves, rhododendrons, and native flora invited visitors to experience a dialogue between the natural world and the urban environment.
