SPRING SUMMER 2016
ERMENEGILDO ZEGNA COUTURE
“It’s a continuous evolution; there are Zegna’s specific codes, and tailoring is an important category, but here I’ve worked not only on the silhouettes but also on lighter constructions. The construction itself becomes a detail of the look. A deconstructed feeling, but constructed.” Stefano Pilati
Stefano Pilati, Ermenegildo Zegna Couture Head of Design, has created an essential and fresh collection where the fluidity, transparency and lightness of fabrics are applied to the sturdy conventions of menswear to create a new canon for a stylish, masculine and contemporary personality.
The colorful symphony of black and white monochromatic looks unveils a unique summery allure based on contrasting volumes and unconventional silhouettes, whereas Madras injections applied to tailored looks and elongated scarves, worn nonchalantly, become an iconic essential of the season.
